Rental Information

Rental equipment is provided for all ClubSport Adventure Center programs. A complimentary harness is provided for belay only.

The ClubSport Adventure Center is the largest rock climbing facility in Oregon. The Gym features Bouldering areas as well as Top Roping and Lead Climbing routes for all levels. Our experienced staff will help you enjoy the Great Indoors!

Private Belay Sessions
Haven't had a chance to get belay certified, or would like to climb, but need a belayer? Our staff can belay for you. Sessions are one hour long. Contact the Adventure Center to schedule an appointment.

Technique Courses
Learn to be a technical, strong, and smart climber. Learn the climbing techniques that the pros use and become the kind of climber you want to be. Learn techniques ranging from wall contact and mechanics to lead climbing and training. These classes can help you learn, practice, and fine-tune your climbing skills under the expert guidance of our Adventure Center instructors. Each class meets two hours per week for three weeks, to maximize your student to teacher time, understanding and practice.

• Climbing 101
  This two-hour class is designed to prepare climbers 13 and up for roped climbing in the Adventure Center. Topics include proper use of harness, knot tying, belaying, top-rope safety, and fundamentals of climbing. Climbing 101 is conveniently offered twice weekly to get you climbing indoors in no time.
   
• Climbing 202
  This six-hour, three-day class is for those climbing between 5.6 and 5.8. ClubSport staff will guide you through basic climbing techniques, games, and drills honed to get you on the rocks. Take this class to start climbing smarter now! Belay Certification required.
   
• Climbing 303
Once you can stay on the rock, ClubSport staff will show you how to move across it! This series is for climbers in the 5.8-5.10 range that need to know how to move. Climbing 303 focuses on movement, balance and drills to teach climbers who want to 'get moving' the fundamentals.


• Climbing 404
Our most popular class, Climbing 404 brings it all together in a new venue, sport climbing. Climbers who are top-roping 5.10 and have basic skills can learn to lead climb in this three-week course. Ages 14 and up. Belay certification required.

Kids Climb Time
This is a supervised program providing climbing for children, ages 4-18, in a safe and fun environment. No experience is required and equipment is provided.
One Hour: Member: $15; Guest: $22

Climbing Camps

School's Out Climbing Camp - On major holidays and during school vacations
Campers will have a blast climbing the walls with our Adventure Center Staff. Our adventure games will develop coordination, focus and confidence while kids have fun and make friends. No experience needed. Gear included. Bring snack, drink & comfortable clothes.
