Fitness Class Descriptions

Prime yourself for a good day at ClubSport. Select from a wide variety of group fitness classes to fit your schedule and fitness level. All classes are included with your membership unless noted.
This full-body water workout will condition all major muscle groups with resistance training. Dynamic cardiovascular exercises increase the heart rate and combine with non-weight-bearing activities to provide a well-rounded workout for every fitness level. Be ready to leave class energized!
Master’s Swim offers year round coached adult swim workouts for intermediate and advanced fitness, tri-athlete, and competitive swimmers able to swim freestyle 300 yards continuously; includes interval workouts. Swim stroke knowledge and proficiency is suggested.
In this class you will learn the basics of boxing with Ashley and have fun while training to the beat of the music with a combination of body weight movements, core and bagwork. This is a full body workout that will leave you sweaty and smiling. Boxing gloves needed.
Shadow Boxing Conditioning
Transform your power by incorporating unique boxing techniques with world-class boxing professional Frank Rivera. You will improve strength, power, speed, endurance, rhythm, footwork, and overall boxing abilities. Experience boxing bio-mechanic practices and increase your core development to a higher level. Boxing Gloves needed.
Cardio & Strength
This class is a no-nonsense, high-intensity workout that improves overall fitness for every level using sports drills, athletic moves, and exercises to target both the upper and lower body. Boot Camp delivers maximum intensity while requiring minimal coordination.
This total body workout is a great cross-training approach for overall health. Cardiovascular intervals alternate with strength intervals and are combined with resistance training for an exciting interactive workout.
Core & More
This class is all about the core, focusing on strengthening the muscles that wrap around the core of the body. These exercises build a more stable, powerful torso which will improve posture, stability, balance, and provide a strong foundation for an active daily life. The class concentrates on a variety of strength, balance, and stretching exercises for abdominal, lower back, and oblique muscles.
Challenge all limits and jump into this high-energy, interval-based workout set to the most energetic music. From beginning to end, this class keeps participants moving and working the full body. Resistance training is mixed with cardio bursts, core exercises, agility training, stabilization work, and balance techniques.
Lower Body Conditioning
This class is all about the core and lower body with a focus on strength and conditioning using a variety of resistance equipment. Each class will offer a combination of strength and cardio using bands, body bars, balls, and dumbbells that will target areas of the lower body.
This high-energy class mixes strength and cardio using a variety of equipment. There are three designated pods that you will move through with a series of exercises, at your preferred pace, before switching to the next set. Every class ends with a Perfect Performance Move of the day.
This total body workout combines step choreography with body sculpting. Get your heart rate pumping and your mind working in this high-energy class. This class challenges the body, mind, and coordination all in one class.
This high-intensity cardiovascular workout will take you through various drills and terrain to give you an exciting, heart-pumping workout. Each class will be different as the instructors create a fun and energetic indoor cycling experience. All levels are welcome!
Rock the Ride
This cycle format is a party on a bike! This class will bring you through a rhythm-driven ride with an exciting variety of movement choreography, all with a nightclub feel. Let the music and movement move your body, mind, and soul all while getting an amazing workout.
A hybrid cycling class of road cycle and rhythm ride, experience a different ride each class with a variety of drills, terrain, and visualizations to upbeat rhythms. Instructors will use the console to coach the intensity for every rider and create a fun and exciting indoor cycling experience.
This class will introduce students to the concepts of classical ballet and dance movements. All exercises are choreographed to music with a direct relationship to dancing, both floor conditioning, and ballet barre standing. Movements are designed to improve proper body alignment, lengthen and strengthen muscles, and enhance coordination, creating harmony amongst muscle groups.
This dance fitness class fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms with easy moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program. Zumba is one of the most exciting dance fitness programs in the world with routines featuring variable training by combining fast and slow rhythms for a body-energizing fun-filled class.
All the moves, music, and fun of Zumba using light hand weights for upper body toning, plus a segment for core strength and overall flexibility. A great workout for body, mind, and spirit. All levels are welcome and no prior dance experience is required!
Mind & Body
Fusion Flow Yoga
This class draws on various styles of yoga to form a fusion that allows participants to explore different styles of practice. Types of yoga utilized include Ashtanga, Anusara, Yin, Yang, Kundalini, and Iyengar. Fusion Flow Yoga fuses the benefits of various yoga styles into one amazing adventure. All levels are welcome!
Heated Vinyasa Flow
A flow style yoga at links breath to movement, this challenging sequence of postures builds heat, strength, and flexibility while focusing on alignment. This class is heated to 75-77 degrees.
This mat workout uses a variety of props to engage the intrinsic muscle groups that help support the internal structure through concentrated work on core strength, body alignment, and muscular balance.
Sweat, stretch, and strengthen all in one class using upbeat low-impact choreography to challenge every muscle in the body. This is not a traditional Pilates or yoga class but an intense workout that includes muscle-sculpting lunge and squat variations, planks, and push-ups combined with the best core-firming benefits of Pilates and strength and flexibility of yoga. Yoga and Pilates experience are highly recommended.
Power Vinyasa breath to movement practice that will focus on building heat, strength, and flexibility.
Slow Flow Yoga
This yoga class moves slowly and with purpose through traditional Hatha yoga postures. The combination of yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (Dhyana) provide the opportunity to bring about a sound healthy body and a clear peaceful mind.
Restore & Release
This class focuses on myofascial release using specific stretches and rolling techniques. With the use of balls and foam rollers, this class will help with muscle recovery from stress and overuse, facilitate muscle release, and improve circulation and relaxation.
A vigorous flow style yoga that links breath with movement, this challenging sequence of postures builds heat, strength, and flexibility while focusing on proper alignment. Prior yoga experience is recommended.
This class is yoga at its deepest, quietest, stillest moments. Poses are held for 2-6 minutes to allow the body to relax and to open the joints and fascia for improved flexibility. This class is a great remedy for stress relief, for athletes of all ages, and is an important complement to the vinyasa practice. All levels are welcome!
