Group Fitness & Pilates Reformer Instructor

Group Fitness Instructor, Stephanie Collie, is a professional Pilates Reformer instructor with over twenty years of experience. With a passion for dance, she finds Pilates to be intuitive and in sync with her personal style of exercise. In 2008, she was introduced to Gyrotonic and became captivated by the freedom of movement it offers, particularly its dynamic spinal range of motion that stimulates the nervous system.

Through teaching Pilates Reformer, Stephanie has developed a deep appreciation for movement with integrity. She has adopted a mindful teaching style, paying close attention to the smallest corrections that make significant differences in the muscle groups used and the overall results of the workout.

Stephanie truly enjoys seeing individuals gain body awareness through the practice of Pilates Reformer, which positively impacts their mental health and can be applied to their everyday activities.

She has found Pilates Reformer to be particularly beneficial for individuals with lower back pain, for correcting imbalances in the body from prior injuries, and for improving posture. Pilates is phenomenal for overall strength and flexibility by elongating and strengthening muscles simultaneously.

Stephanie strongly believes that Pilates Reformer, being such a versatile practice, can transform everyone’s body, mind, and life, as it has her own. When she’s not training, Stephanie enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and taking her dog, Jericho, on walks at the beach.
